You’ve never experienced anything like “The Bizarre World of Frank Zappa.”

Alex Biase, writer for the Asbury Park Press, previews the highly acclaimed and anticipated “The Bizarre World of Frank Zappa” tour, which hits the Count Basie on Monday, April 22! Biase, sits down with Eyellusion’s EVP, Ahmet Zappa and CEO, New Jersey native, Jeff Pezzuti, to get some of the details about the show and what fans can expect!

“We set out to do something that was totally mind-blowing for people,” said Ahmet Zappa, Frank’s son. “I know we’re going to just destroy all expectations of what people think a quote-unquote hologram show is because it’s so not a hologram show. It’s a totally immersive, multimedia experience that has holographic projections. It’s so much more.”

Eyellusion CEO and founder Jeff Pezzuti, a native of Rochelle Park in Bergen County, stressed that “The Bizarre World of Frank Zappa” was designed for both hardcore fans and those experiencing Zappa’s art for the first time.
“Frank was never a radio artist, so what it comes down to is: How do you get people to experience the greatness of his music? It’s through the live show,” Pezzuiti said. “And how do you get the next generation to do it? You do it with an incredible visual experience. … It’s a fun, funny, topical, visual experience, it’s everything. It really takes you on that emotional journey.”
